We provide comfortable, adjustable helmets with every e-scooter hire. Please wear yours at all times while riding.
Ride responsibly
Always stay alert and in control of your scooter. Avoid distractions like phones or headphones while moving.
Stick to safe routes
Martinborough’s roads and pathways are shared spaces. Keep to the left, ride single file where needed, and respect other road users and pedestrians.
No drinking and riding
Enjoy the region’s amazing wines and beers responsibly. If you’re sampling, plan your route and pace yourself — or designate a sober rider.
Check your scooter
Before you go, make sure your brakes, lights, and battery are working. Contact us if there are any issues with your e-scooter.
Be weather aware
Avoid riding in heavy rain or high winds, and wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the conditions.
Bond & damage
In the event of damage or total loss the hirer agrees that they have presented the credit card details noted on the booking as a bond for the hire and that E-Rides Martinborough is authorised to charge this credit card for any actual or consequential liability arising out of the booking.
